Who is behind The Chinese Gate?

Hi, I am Daisy Chan, and I am your sourcing agent in China. The Chinese Gate is not an agency with a call centre — it is me and my small team in Dongguan, Guangdong, working directly with the factories that make your products. How long have I worked in this industry?

Thirteen years. I spent the first six as an international trade salesperson inside a trading company, and I have worked as an independent sourcing agent since 2019. That means I know both sides of the table: how factories quote, where they cut corners, and what a trading company adds on top of the real price.

I handle the whole process for you — finding the right manufacturer, negotiating the price, placing and following the order, inspecting the goods, and arranging delivery. Whether you need someone to find a factory or to run dropshipping for your online store, I am on your side of the table, not the factory’s.

Why did I become a sourcing agent?

In those six years at the trading company I kept meeting buyers who wanted to work with the factory directly, but had no safe way to do it. They could not tell a real manufacturer from a trader, they could not check the goods before paying, and they had no one in China to call when something went wrong. I started The Chinese Gate to be that person.

Why the name “The Chinese Gate”?

China is often called the world’s factory. I wanted a gate through it — one door, one contact, and good products coming out the other side to buyers everywhere.

What you can expect from me
